hi you two. was not able to watch for a while. here now. one thing i like about your show is. you use now day tech. some try to cut it out of thee lives. tech is good when used the right way. i did septic work in the back woods for people. i had a sat phone years ago. loved it. could not have done what i did why out it. first lazer level cost me over 600. now you can get a good one for around 200. in twenty plus years the price has come way down. i miss spell every once in a while sorry.

You need to dig that thistle root out or it will come back. When we moved to our property, our pastures had quite a few thistles in it. We dug them all out and haven't had any problem with them again for years. Myles looks like he is doing well. They love that fresh grass.

WHY doesn't Olivia ever get outside and help with the chores around the farm ?? It's not good that she spends all her time indoors !! She should be outside helping her Dad & Mom pick up rocks , feed the animals & chickens , just HELP Out once in a while ! I grew up on a Quarter Horse farm and always had chores to do before going to School and getting home after school and during the summer when school was out !! All kids should have certain chores to do If they expect or want an allowance !

Picking the blossoms off the berries the first year allows the root systems to build stronger. That not only helps the plant growth but will help it to resist winter damage too. Allow your asparagus to grow up like little trees and go to seed. We always stopped picking even mature plants by the end of July. We leave the tall growth until the spring and then burn off the tops. The tops help to insulate the roots through winter, especially in colder climates. The bonus is the seeds fall down and gives you new starts too. The birds will also help spread seeds and you will find asparagus plants in fencerows or under other roosting areas in a few years.

Watching the goats weave through the electric fence made it pretty clear that you had turned it off while you were creating the new paddock. Thistles suck. Maybe Brutus was trying to provide moral support? He is just too cute. That TYM really made short work of the backfilling. Am I correct in assuming that you’ll be using the new seed and water system to seed the new grass?
